During the roof
inspection, we noted a poor chimney crown and flashing. This led to
investigate further the attic and ceiling with extra detail.
Ceiling damage was noted next to chimney and stains were visible in the
attic.
This is a conducive condition to wood destroying organisms.Structural pests in the northwest are all dependant upon high water content in wood. Leaks from roofs, chimneys, gutters or plumbing can all contribute to infestations of ants, termites and wood boring beetles. See our sample
